The Ukrospas Hemostatic Tourniquet Extension Cord is designed to increase the length of the hemostatic tourniquet, in order to apply it together with a splint for fixing the pelvis on victims whose pelvic volume exceeds 125 cm, or whose body weight exceeds 120 kg. In this case, we recommend using the PDTK-30 tourniquet extender to extend the hemostatic tourniquet.

If it is necessary to apply a shoulder splint for fractures of the humerus, a shoulder joint bandage or a rib bandage, it is recommended to use the PDTK-50 Extension Cord, which allows you to apply a splint to the victim even in winter clothes, without removing the bulletproof vest. The hemostatic tourniquet extension cord is made of high-quality and durable nylon textile fastener, stitched with strong threads and equipped with two elastic locks that close the joint and firmly hold the Velcro fastened.

You can buy a Tourniquet Extension Cord separately if you already have a Ukrospas tourniquet and a splint for pelvic immobilization. Otherwise, it comes with a splint for pelvic fixation and a bandage on the shoulder or ribs. When using the Ukrospas splint for pelvic immobilization as a bandage, we recommend purchasing a compression pad KNSH151-25 for it. Also, if necessary, the compression pad and hemostatic tourniquet are used to extend the length of the splint for pelvic fixation by placing the pad on top of the inner part of the splint, 6 - 9 cm before the end of the splint for pelvic immobilization.
