The evacuation plan is a special scheme aimed at informing people and personnel located at the facility about the available evacuation routes and directions, the availability of primary fire extinguishing equipment, manual fire warning systems and other important information that may be useful during the evacuation of people in case of fire. The evacuation plan consists of a graphic part and a text part. The development of evacuation plans is carried out by certified fire safety specialists, in accordance with the new DSTU ISO 23601: 2019 Safety Identification. Escape and evacuation plan signs (ISO 23601:2009, IDT).

The development of an evacuation plan takes place in several stages, it happens with and without a specialist’s visit to the facility and takes up to two weeks, depending on the facility.

1. The number, type and size of the evacuation plan is determined;

2. Design work is underway;

3. The evacuation plan is agreed with the customer;

4. Making an evacuation plan on plastic or composite.
