Welding screen 1.73 x 2.0 m, made of fire-resistant tarpaulin, density 550 g/m2

Our Welding Screen, or more commonly known as a Protective Screen for Welding, is manufactured from a dense, fire-resistant tarpaulin that can withstand molten metal spatter and sparks. This protective welding screen separates the welding area and protects others from optical and infrared radiation. The Welding Screen is stitched with high-strength polyester threads, or, upon request, fire-resistant para-aramid (Kevlar) threads with a steel core, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 1000°C. Grommets with an internal diameter of 10–12 mm are installed around the perimeter to secure the welding screen to a frame or suspend it from a steel cable. Side grommets can be used to connect the welding screen to another protective screen for welding to create a welding curtain. These screen  are also often used to cover expensive equipment or floors. A welding screen is excellent at suppressing fires that may occur during carrying out welding works, so it is often used as a fire blanket.

Caution! If you want a high-quality and durable welding screen or fire-resistant curtain, we recommend purchasing products with a minimum density of 550 g/m² ± 60 g/m², preferably with fire-resistant seams.
