Fire equipment is primary fire extinguishing equipment that is located on the territory of enterprises and organizations, garages, gas stations, auto repair shops, shopping and entertainment centers, and parking lots. Fire equipment should include a fire shield, which is divided into an open fire shield and a closed fire shield. The standard equipment of a fire shield is a crowbar, a hook, a fire axe, a fire blanket a fire bucket, a shovel, and a barrel of water. The complete set of fire shields and their number are determined by regulatory documents. Fire stations are also equipped with a barrel of water and, if necessary, a fire swatter for wildland fires to knock down the flame when extinguishing ground fires of dry grass and pine needles.

When choosing firefighting equipment, you should pay attention to its quality. If this is a fireman's crowbar, then it must be of sufficient diameter and length, the same as a fireman's hook. The fire bucket must be a cone type with sufficient capacity. Requirements for fire equipment are determined by regulatory documents. A fire blanket made of tarpaulin, must be made exclusively of fire-resistant tarpaulin, stitched with fire-resistant threads and of sufficient density to prevent burnout when extinguishing a fire. We recommend using a fire blanket with a tarpaulin density of at least 550 g/m2, single-layer or double-layer.
