Soft stretchers | Frameless stretchers

The soft stretchers is a tactical frameless medical evacuation stretcher for the Ukrainian Armed Forces, made of ultra-durable 1000D Cordura nylon fabric with a density of 350 g/m². It is easy to wash and disinfect, can withstand extremely heavy weights, and is equipped with chest and leg straps with strong and reliable double-sided acetal fasteners that can be tightened on both sides to withstand heavy loads. Even if the fastener is inverted during an emergency evacuation, it will still easily fasten and unfasten. The soft evacuation stretcher is also equipped with a soft Velcro pad that expands when the stretcher is opened, absorbing air. This pad softens the impact of frequent lowering of the stretcher and also serves as a marker for the correct positioning of the wounded person on the stretcher. The Ukrospas KD-1 (8) soft stretcher is equipped with eight comfortable, wide carrying handles, a packing system that attaches the stretcher to a MOLLE system, and an additional hanger that can be attached to a backpack, belt, or to an ambulance care unit or other military vehicle. This soft, frameless evacuation stretchers is reinforced with strong webbing on both sides and stitched with high-strength threads. Upon request, the Ukrospas soft stretchers can be equipped with soft carrying pads and an information pocket containing important information about the wounded and the equipment owner.

When choosing a stretcher, always pay attention to the durability of the fabric, the quality of the seams, and the threads, as these factors determine the successful transportation of the wounded. Unlike cheaper alternatives made from less durable fabric, Ukrospas stretchers are not stitched with a webbing strap across the bottom. They can easily withstand extremely heavy weights without this, while still ensuring comfortable transport for the injured person. Cheaper stretchers are stitched with webbing for one reason only—to make them at least a little stronger. When carried in such stretchers, the strap cuts into the body and presses, making evacuation difficult and uncomfortable for the injured person. Cheaper alternatives are also stitched with poor-quality seams and threads.
