The COP oval steel carabiner with a threaded lock is an affordable carabiner used in industrial mountaineering to connect various parts of a safety harness. It is also suitable for evacuation slings for ground evacuation of wounded and injured personnel. The carabiner is equipped with a screw lock to prevent it from opening during evacuation. Its symmetrical oval shape minimizes the risk of accidental lateral displacement, which reduces breaking loads on the carabiner. To ensure the carabiner is always correctly positioned on the evacuation sling, our company has developed the FPC-25 carabiner holder, which we recommend attaching to the evacuation sling before installing the carabiner.
